NOTICE
The City of Eastland is accepting applications for the following position:
Full Time Animal Control Officer
- Ensure that stray animals are captured and impounded.
- Responsible for maintaining clean surroundings for impounded animals.
- Responds to animal bite complaints.
- Traps and destroys wild and stray animals in a humane manner.
- Responsible for removal and disposal of dead and injured animals.
- Responsible for assuring compliance with city ordinances related to the keeping of animals with the city limits.

Required Qualifications
-Must have a valid Texas Driver License
-Must be able to pass a drug test and a complete background check
-High School graduate or equivalent
